Mary of the Passion understood the far reaching influence of the Media. She both used and improved upon the printing technology that had already been in use for 400 years. Her farsightedness in exploiting the power of the printing press as a means of sharing news and views with the wider public has set the trend for us to utilize the potent means of the media to communicate the compassionate face of God to all peoples.

Services are grouped as C.U.R.E. (Communicate, Urge, Reach out and Educate).

The Social Communication team offers many services to women and children by conducting

	Media awareness sessions in schools, colleges and formation houses.
	Sessions about the life, writings and spirituality of Blessed Mary of the Passion with FMM in formation.
	Weekend retreats to students, staff and spiritually inclined persons
	7/8 days retreats to (women) religious communities. And
	Animates the Lay Associates of the FMM.
	Offers our services on the Internet through six dynamic modules.
	- We Share’: Information about Indian FMM working outside India and news about important events in the five provinces of India. - ‘Prayer’: Through this we offer an opportunity for all browsing the Internet to pray for the needs of the world, of our country and for the raising of our moral quality. We post at regular intervals appropriate prayers either composed by us or written by others. - ‘Prayer Request ‘: Do you have a special need to pray for? Post your prayer in this section. Our sisters, our Associates and various others will join you in praying for your need. - ‘Inspiration’: Open your day/ week with an inspirational/motivational story or thought that is found in this section. - ‘Do you know’: All of us get confused with certain matters of faith. Do you need to clarify your doubt or get clearer information? Check out this module. - ‘Spiritual Insights’: The sayings of Blessed Mary of the Passion are inspiring for seekers of truth. Her wisdom is offered in this module for anyone who wants to benefit from it. Browse through her words in the section.

Empowerment of women - this was the one aim of Blessed Mary of the Passion in serving the less fortunate that led her to open educational institutions, health-care services and set up small income-generating works for women. We respond to the cry of the poor, the oppressed and the marginalized, especially the women through the same services today. We work for the integrity of creation through non-violence and eco-justice, sharing God's gifts with all.

Her farsightedness in establishing a printing press in the 19th century itself, to publish The Annals of the Institute as a means of sharing news and views with the wider public has set the trend for us to utilize the potent means of the media to communicate the compassionate face of God to all peoples thereby promoting communion and human relationships.
